Consumers these days are pretty switched on; and particularly in a world of instant mass communication such as Twitter or Instagram, a brand would be pretty nuts to try and pull the wool over their customers’ eyes. But sadly in the competitive world of skincare and cosmetics, it’s no surprise that some brands might try and promise you the world, but fall short on their delivery.
We know consumers want to feel proud of their purchase, want to associate with genuine brands and want their purchase to deliver on the claims they make. That’s why when we say our natural products at botanicES improves skin hydration by up to 59%, and skin elasticity by up to 50%, we really mean it!
While it wasn’t a necessary step in launching our skincare line, my husband Hendrik and I wanted to be taken seriously from day one, so we sought out and invested in clinical trials. After all, we had already invested so much into the business, patenting our caffeine extraction process and sourcing the best manufacturer, so it was a no brainer for us to dot all the Is and cross all the Ts before launching.
It has always been important to us that our customers know that not only do we believe in our product, but so too does the Australian Institute of Personal Science (AIPS) who conducted the testing. We would hope then, that this gives you some peace of mind that our claims are tested and genuine.
Belinda Carli from the AIPS said:
“a significant clinical trial to test the product on different age groups and skin types, found that the skin saw a 59% increase in hydration…“botanicES skincare definitely improves visible suppleness of the skin and keeps it in better condition”.
Belinda also found improvement of skin elasticity up to 50%, which is why we’re so proud of our efforts to bring this to the wider population.
Sharing our claims with our consumers, and those considering our product, is an essential part of our business. We are no doubt operating in a cluttered industry promoting “clearer skin”, “youthful complexion” and “reduces appearance of wrinkles”, but we are so proud to stand by our claims that our botanicES products really do boost skin hydration.
